About me
I am the Curator of Palaeobotany at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology, Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. I am a palaeobotanist and geologist, and the goal of my research is to use plant fossils to reconstruct ancient ecosystems and climates. Plants are an excellent proxy for deep time environments as they represent an interface between the biotic and abiotic factors that shape ecosystems.
